Pigeons are one of the most misunderstood of the beautiful birds. What makes them so special is the uniqueness of their colors and patterns despite being the same species. Pigeons are celebrated for their originality in these studies. A Pigeon Study can run as a series of unique color blocking, patterns, and themes. Whatever is in my mind is what I paint.
This series carries crystals on hand-painted saddle blankets. Choose from:

Pigeon Studies are made by making a cast out of plaster from an original clay sculpture. Although castings, Pigeon Studies still have their own quirks.
Pigeon Studies are then painted with acrylic paints and sealed with a super high gloss sealer. An embossed logo is visible under the bird's tail feathers.
