Enamel blackbird charm is made of brass with a silver plating and hard enamel. Charm measures approx .75" across.
The red part of the wing has glitter.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the metal, tarnishing is normal after a year or so. This can easily be remedied 2 ways:
1) a simple tarnish remover (like silver polish) can be applied to get the metal shiny and sparkly again
2) keep your jewelry in a dark and airtight container after wear

Beautiful earrings! I ordered hummingbirds and red winged blackbirds - I ordered the blackbirds to wear at my mom’s funeral since they were her favorite and ordered the hummingbirds because they were my late aunt’s favorite. I will wear them with love every time!
