A large, dark jay of evergreen forests in the mountainous West. Steller’s Jays are common in forest wildernesses but are also fixtures of campgrounds, parklands, and backyards, where they are quick to spy bird feeders as well as unattended picnic items. When patrolling the woods, Steller’s Jays stick to the high canopy, but you’ll hear their harsh, scolding calls if they’re nearby. Graceful and almost lazy in flight, they fly with long swoops on their broad, rounded wings.
Approx 1”-1.5” long
Bird Miniatures have been intricately painted with acrylic paints and topped with 2 coats of glossy sealer, with an additional layer of high gloss sealer for the beaks and eyes. They have a sheen that really brings out their colors.

We ended up purchasing two figurines to use as cake toppers and mementos from our wedding, and loved the style that renders the species recognizably but also in a really cute way. They'll be great keepsakes and decoration forevermore.

I am obsessed with my Steller Jay Bird Family and this just makes me so happy. Amazing craftmanship! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Picture does not do it justice. The little feet on the bottom just makes it that much better
