The big, foxy-red Brown Thrasher is a familiar bird over much of the east. Sometimes it forages boldly on open lawns; more often it scoots into dense cover at any disturbance, hiding among the briar tangles and making loud crackling callnotes. Although the species spends most of its time close to the ground, the male Brown Thrasher sometimes will deliver its rich, melodious song of doubled phrases from the top of a tall tree.
About the Miniature:
Approx 1”-1.5” long
Bird Miniatures have been intricately painted with acrylic paints and topped with 2 coats of glossy sealer, with an additional layer of high gloss sealer for the beaks and eyes. They have a sheen that really brings out their colors.
Bird miniatures come lovingly packaged.

Once again, Emily surpasses herself in her extraordinary creations. There were so many different species of birds to select from that I had a difficult time determining which one to purchase. I settled on the Brown Thrasher, which is beautifully executed with a great deal of intricate detail. It is something I will treasure for a long time to come. Thank you Emily for another magnificent item.
